Think about it!

"The difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson." Tom Bodett

LOST WITHOUT THE MOON

Where has this moon gone?
the moon that used to brighten up
the night sky,
And the moon that used to shine
Brighter than any star,
The moon that used to bring to me
This beautiful light,
For this moon used to lighten up
My heart,
Now that this moon is gone
I must rely on the stars
to bring me light,
This moon left me alone,
alone to suffer and think,
empty thoughts,
And now i know that
I am lost,
Oh where has this moon gone?

And so this is us...

'Oriental utopia'The man who forged the way was Vasco da Gama, who opened the Indian Ocean for the spice trade. He's the namesake of both a soaring bridge and a contemporary development topped by curved glass "sails" in the city's Parque das Nações, a newly revived neighborhood. But his legacy remains at the harbor. Overlooking the waterfront from a sleek contemporary building, the Orient Museum holds up a mirror to East and West, showing how each changed the other.

Carnival is...

"Carnival is a butterfly of winter whose last real flight of Mardi Gras forever ends his glory." The Mistick Krewe: Chronicles of Comus and his Kin, by Perry Young.

Valentine's Day

Love is...

Love is a fire that burns unseen,
a wound that hurts yet isn't felt,
an always discontent contentment,
pain that ranges witthout hurting,

a longing for nothing but too long,
loneliness in the midst of people,
never feeling pleased when pleased,
a passion that gains when lost in thought.

It's freely wanting to be enslaved;
it's counting your defeat a victory;
it's staying loyal to your killer.

But if so self-contraditory,
how canLove, when Love chooses,
bring human hearts into sympathy?

This is what Camões, our greatest poet, thought and said about Love.
Translated by Richard Zenith Albert Memorial is Queen Victoria's love!

From the bottom of my heart

May I thank you Mr. Mandela for having taught me the value of freedom? You did it and I feel very proud for belonging to the same time, to the same world, to same moments of a turning point of History of Mankind. Thank You very much Mr. Mandela!"London is proud to host this statue of Nelson Mandela, whose role in world history is finally being given the recognition it deserves," said the mayor (Ken Livingstone).

Yuko Yamaguchi

I bet very few of you know who is Ikuko "Yuko" Shimizu, and yet I know that each and all we had to do with its creation of one form or another. And if I tell she's the mother of Kitty White? No? Still lost? Well, Ms. Shimizu, is nothing more and nothing less than the creator of the most recognized fictional character in history.
Kitty White, better known as Hello Kitty, is the greatest creation of this artist / character designer oil painting graduate of Musashino Art University. Her character, now more famous than her creator, can say that it is in the most prestigious design houses (has been a model of Dior ) accompanying the most famous women (Paris Hilton, Rihanna, Hilary Duff ...) , and has up to a maternity ward.
Although Mrs. Shimizu was only in the early years of Kitty in Sanrio, when the cat has not yet reached its fame, and it definitely was not her but Yuko Yamaguchi who drove Kitty to stardom, it must be admitted that her character had the potential since the beginning. Clean design, thick borders, glamorous look and a beautiful ribbon.
